Good Eatin Macaroni

Ingredients

8 ounces elbow macaroni
4 tablespoons butter
2 cups milk low fat
1/2 cup gruyere shredded
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup bread crumbs whole wheat
1 cup broccoli florets
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup cheddar shredded
1/4 cup parmesan
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Cook macaroni & broccoli separately.  Grease 8X8 baking dish.  Preheat oven 375.  Melt butter in saucepan, add flour and stir till smooth.  Whisk in milk, stir until thick–about 3 mins.  Remove from heat.

Set aside 1/4 c cheddar.  Add rest of cheddar, gruyere, parmesan, salt & cayenne into sauce until cheese melts.

Bake for 15 minutes.  Sprinkle with rest o cheese.  Bake 10-15 minutes more.
