Hawaiian Calzones

Ingredients

1 cup ham reduced fat, diced
1/2 cup pineapple tidbits, canned, drained
1/2 cup red bell pepper chopped
1/3 cup mushrooms fresh, chopped
cooking spray
1 can dough French bread, refrigerated (11 oz)
1/2 cup pasta sauce tomato-basil
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese grated
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Combine ham, pineapple, pepper, mushroom in a small bowl
  3. Unroll dough on a lightly floured surface.  Cut into 4 (6 1/2 inch) squares.  Spread 2 T pasta sauce over each square, leaving a 1/2 inch border.  Spoon 1/2 C ham mixture onto each square, and sprinkle each with 1T mozzarella cheese.  Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle, pressing edges to seal.
  4. Place calzones on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.  Press the edges with a fork to seal.  Coat tops of calzones with cooking spray; sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake at 350 for 28 minutes or until golden brown.

Yield:  4 servings (1 calzone)
