Ingredients

No. 2 1/2 can fruit cocktail (1 lb. 14 oz.) DEL MONTE
1 pkg. gelatin lime-flavored
3 tablesp. lemon juice
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 to 4 tablesp. blue cheese

bananas 6 small or 3 large
lettuce

Drain 1 No. 2 1/2 can (1 lb 14 oz.) DEL MONTE Fruit Cocktail, saving syrup.  Heat 1 cup of this syrup to boiling; pour over 1 pkg. (3 oz.) lime-flavored gelatin; stir till dissolved.  Add another 1/2 cup syrup and 1 1/2 tablesp. lemon juice.  Cool till it is syrupy.  Blend 1/2 cup mayonnaise with 2 to 4 tablesp. blue cheese.  Blend gelatin mixture gradually into cheese mixture; beat well.  Pour into 6 small (1/3-cup) molds or fill 1/2 cup molds 2/3 full.  Chill till set.  Pour 1 to 1 1/2 tablesp. lemon juice over drained fruit cocktail; salt lightly; chill.  Have ready 6 small or 3 large bananas.  At serving time, peel bananas and split lengthwise.  (Large bananas should be cut lengthwise also.)  Drain lemon juice cocktail over bananas, coating well.  Arrange 2 banana pieces per serving on lettuce with a gelatin mold and fruit cocktail.  Serve cold.
