Canned Salmon Loaf

Ingredients

1 can salmon steak
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup bread crumbs
1 cup milk hot
2 eggs
salt
pepper

Remove skin and bones from salmon, and rub fish fine with potatoe masher.  Melt milk and butter and add bread crumbs and seasoning.  Combine with the fish.  Add the well-beaten eggs.  Put into a buttered deep baking dish.  Steam for one hour.

Put onto platter and pour over white sauce using liquid from salmon with the milk to make sauce.
