Ingredients
2 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shortening
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix together dry ingredients. With pastry blender cut the shortening into the dry mixture until lumpy. Measure egg in measuring cup, adding water till it is 1/4 c. liquid. Add egg and vanilla to dry mix and beat. Put through cooky press onto ungreased sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 mins.
