“An easy step up from the ubiquitous jar sauce.”
Cut tomatoes in half. Cut off string end of garlic head deep enough to just cut the tips off some of the cloves. Put into 9 x 13 pan. Drizzle Olive Oil onto everything. Sprinkle Tomatoes with Cayenne. Put in 450 oven for 15 minutes. Turn oven down to roast for additional 90 minutes. Dump everything into a big bowl and put in as much chopped fresh basil as you can.
