Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 8″ round pan. Arrange lemon slices in bottom of pan. Mix drained tuna, onion, green pepper, crumbs, ketchup and egg. Add lemon juice and mustard and mix well. Place on top of lemon slices; cover with cheese slices. Mix milk and biscuit mix and spread over cheese layer. Bake for 20 to 40 minutes or until top is light brown.
This is a true 50’s recipe from the Good Housekeeping Cook Book. It was served frequently at Woodside Drive and shared with friends and neighbors.
