Zero Carb Fries

Ingredients

1 package tofu firm
1/2 cup corn starch
1 teaspoon salt kosher
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons paprika
3 tablespoons canola oil

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place a low-sided cookie sheet in the over to heat up.

Drain tofu, and slice (on the short side) into ¾” slabs. Place on a few sheets of paper towel to dry out.

Slice each slab into 4 ‘fries’.

Fill pie pan with corn starch and spices.

Roll each ‘fry’ in pie pan, and cover completely with mixture.

When the oven it hot remove the cookie sheet, and coat with oil (The entire surface should have a light visible coat of oil.). Place fries (not touching) in rows on the pan.

Return pan to the oven, bake for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes remove pan, and flip the fries. Return to oven and bake for 10-15 more minutes.

Fries should now be golden brown and crisp. Remove from pan, salt to taste. Enjoy!
